i reading a book
It is called, How To Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie
This book at first i saw it as a chore given by Mr Nigan but after i started reading it... i think it would be the most useful book i will ever read...
This book shows how you can deal with the people around you, make people like you, how to influence them, how to make them think in your way & how to be a leader. because i am the CEO of my class, i am now given this task to use this knowledge to influence the class... it will be a long shot but i think i should be able to handle it...
The first chapter tells how to Handle people around you. with 3 simple principles...
1. dun criticize, condemn or complain.
2. Give honest, sincere appriciation.
3. Arouse(dun think dirty) in the other person an eager want.(in other words... talk in a way that satisfies the other person's needs instead of your own needs)
principle 3 is useful you know... In doing the letter writing compo during eng paper one... might get higher marks :P
i haven read the other chapters yet... so erm... shall write about it nxt time... Why does Mr Ong say i am the 2nd Mr Nigan???? lolz
gona go make a table to plan my time after school... Set Goals blah blah... i need to plan my time le no time to slack this year and next year... shall not be siao for another year... cause cannot afford to siao liao...
